Sally Lunn Bread

Late night I was craving bread, but didn't have any in the house.  I grabbed a recipe book and started flipping though.  I found a recipe for Sally Lunn bread.  I don't know who Sally is, but her bread is delicious.  Only a few simple ingredients and when served hot, it is a lot like a pound cake, but not so dense.  While the bread was baking, I found the inscription below on the inside cover of the book.
